My Mail maintains its servers in Texas and complies fully with valid court orders issued by the U.S. courts. In order to ensure consistent treatment of all users, My Mail does not accept court orders from other jurisdictions. However, law enforcement agencies from other jurisdictions may pursue action through international channels compliant with the laws of Texas and the United States, resulting in a court order being issued by a court of Texas.

Can I send email to anyone using MyMail?
Yes. MyMail functions just like a regular web email account.

Can I send encrypted email to anyone using MyMail?
Yes. Sending encrypted email is most secure between two MyMail users. When email is sent between two MyMail users, the encryption is seamless and exactly like regular email use.

If you send email from a MyMail account to a regular email account, you can still send it encrypted if the users e-mail service provider automatically responds to MyMail's request to establish a secure (SSL) connection. If the user's e-mail service provider does not respond to MyMail's request for a secure connection, the e-mail message is sent in non-secure mode.

How can I eliminate spam without blocking legitimate e-mail?
NetsafeSM lets you control what e-mails are allowed to enter your Inbox through the use of an approved sender list (Whitelist). All other senders are challenged to type a pattern of characters into a form (challenge-and-response protocol) in order to have their message delivered to you. This feature keeps your inbox 100% spam free while ensuring that you do not block legitimate client e-mail messages.

Turning ON the Netsafe option blocks all incoming e-mail from your Inbox whose e-mail address is not in your Whitelist. The blocked e-mail messages are not deleted but stored in the Blocked folder in Webmail for 14 days before being deleted from the folder. This gives you ample opportunity to review your blocked e-mails in Webmail for legitimate client e-mails. Once identified, the legitimate client's e-mail address may be added to your Whitelist, ensuring your receipt of legitimate client e-mails.

It is important to note, that although a sender may fail the challenge-and-response protocol, a sender is not automatically “black listed”. Netsafe does have a black listing feature, which immediately terminates attempted mail delivery to a recipient from an email address listed in the recipient’s blacklist. MyMail requires a recipient to manually add an email address they want black listed from their account to prevent unintentional loss of legitimate e-mail messages.

Can I use my current domain name to continue receiving/sending e-mail but with the added features offered by MyMail?
The MyMail Business Accounts permit you to continue using your current domain name for your e-mail.  When you set up your business account, you will receive detailed instructions for changing your domain's MX record to point to MyMail's e-mail server.  This does not affect any other operation of your domain.  It simply tells Internet routing services that your e-mail is being hosted on a MyMail server.
